Since 1910, Mother’s Day is celebrated the 2nd Sunday in May as a day to honor mothers, grandmothers, or wives with something out of the ordinary to make them feel extraordinary and honored. Mother’s Day is one day designed explicitly for the women you care about the most. Some feel that is just a day for Hallmark and retail stores to sell more items, but alas to moms everywhere it is much more… and shame on you if you forget it!

What is a Mom?

Being a mom is harder than it seems. Motherhood is not about birthing a child as much as being number one caretaker, cook, housekeeper, role model, teacher, influencer, protector, disciplinarian, and your biggest cheerleader. She will fight relentlessly in your behalf if she feels you were wronged.

A mother is a selfless, loving human who must sacrifice many of her wants and needs for the wants and needs of her children. A mother works hard to make sure her child is equipped with the knowledge, skills and abilities to make it as a competent human being.

Pretty important stuff!

How do you honor mom on Mother’s Day?

  • Flowers
  • Dinner/Brunch
  • Jewelry
  • A living plant or tree
  • Clothing
  • Maid Service

Maybe 3 months of bi-monthly cleanings? If she has never used our service we suggest a Deep Cleaning first, followed up with a Basic Cleaning. Contact us for details at (832) 928-1690.

Never take your mother for granted because one day she will be gone and you will never know when. It could be tomorrow, in a couple of days, in a couple of weeks, years, it could even be today. The point is your mother loves you and you should love and appreciate her to because she could be gone any time. Life doesn’t come with a manual, it comes with a mom!

Remember, whatever you do, do it soon! Mother’s Day is the busiest day for florists, restaurants, and yes even maid services!
