Bathrooms are meant to be a space promoting privacy, calmness and tranquility.  In a sense, they should act as a safe haven from the rest of the world.  After all, it’s in the bathroom that you take a shower, refresh and relax yourself after a long day of work.  To promote a peaceful atmosphere in the bathroom, it needs to be organized.  At We Clean 4 You, we’re all about organization, so we thought we’d share a few of our bathroom decluttering tips.

Add an over-the-toilet shelf One of the best ways to add organization and storage space to your bathroom is by installing an over-the-toilet shelf.  These shelves come in a variety of sizes, including ones that reach all the way to the ceiling, which provide a great way to take advantage of vertical space.

Replace your vanity When it comes to organization, a vanity with cabinets and drawers is one of the best investments you’ll ever make.  If your bathroom is large enough, you should consider installing a double sink vanity, which optimizes storage space even more.

Use your old jars or wine bottles Do you enjoy drinking a glass of wine?  If so, then you probably know a thing or two about empty wine bottles.  Every time you finish a bottle you might be tempted to keep it because it’s so pretty, but you think to yourself ‘what would I ever do with it?’  Well now you have something to do with all those bottles, and it includes cutting them with string, sanding them down and using them as storage in the bathroom.  Check out this DIY guide for making the perfect storage out of wine bottles (you can do the same thing with beer and whiskey bottles too!).
